One of the best parts of my job is seeing a project come to life in front of my eyes. It’s rewarding when all the hard work throughout the early stages starts to materialise as a built environment for people to enjoy.

Outside of work I enjoy football, surfing, snowboarding and essentially anything that involves getting outdoors and exploring. This includes a lot of travelling and making my way around Europe, now that I live over this side of the world.

As a director at Buro Four, I enjoy delivering large, complex projects. I’m committed to driving excellence in delivery and keeping the company at the forefront of innovation in sustainable construction. I believe that the AI revolution is a great opportunity for the construction industry to evaluate and drive improvements to our current delivery model.

Having worked as both a project manager and lead architect, I’ve developed a keen interest in high density and tall residential mixed-use buildings in urban locations. I’m passionate about the built environment and the power of buildings to regenerate urban areas and redefine the neighbourhoods we live in.

I particularly enjoy building strong relationships with my team. I believe in fostering collaboration, empathy, and open discussion to effectively address key issues.

Away from the office, I enjoy travelling and I’m an avid rugby and Manchester United fan. During the winter months, I often go skiing and I’ve recently taken up golf as a new sporting challenge. When I’m not enjoying sporting challenges, I like adding to my growing whisky collection at home (well I am Scottish!).
