Quadrant Arcade wins in the Retail Category at the New London Architecture Awards

Buro Four were in attendance at the New London Architecture Awards with Barr Gazetas as Quadrant Arcade picked up the NLA Award in the Retail category.

As described in their brochure the “New London Architecture is London’s annual celebration of the best architecture, planning and construction projects that contribute to the capital’s wider social and economic wellbeing”.

The Crown Estate’s Quadrant Arcade transformed an unloved part of Regent Street into a world-class retail destination. The entrance was redesigned to increase the natural light and create a striking presence with curved shopfronts. The Grade II listed arcade features terrazzo flooring, inspired by tiles from Pompeii and provided seven new retail units.
