Buro Four enters a new chapter with a fresh leadership team.

Buro Four has appointed a fresh leadership team aimed at delivering new energy, drive and ambition to the company. The new leadership team includes four new directors who have been appointed at the same time as a series of wider staff promotions. The announcement comes during a period of strong growth for the company, which now has offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Cambridge, Leeds and Abu Dhabi.

Ian Higgs returns to the business as managing director of London after a 10-year hiatus. Higgs has re-joined to run the company’s London operations and is recognised throughout the industry for his pragmatic approach to projects and unrivalled ability to act on behalf of his clients to deliver exceptional buildings. During his career, Higgs has been heavily involved in working on complex mixed-use schemes and has extensive experience working on high-profile sporting projects.

Stuart Flaxton has been promoted to London operations director and head of corporate occupier. Flaxton joined Buro Four three years ago and will support Higgs in managing the London operations, as well as leading projects for corporate occupier clients. Flaxton is a Chartered Surveyor and brings with him over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, delivering property solutions to clients within the private and public sectors.

David Boles has been appointed as managing director of the regions, following his instrumental work growing Buro Four’s presence in Manchester over the last eight years. Boles will also lead projects in Leeds and Birmingham. Regional offices represent an integral part of Buro Four’s overall offer.

Justin Hopkins joins as director of business development & marketing focusing on delivering a high quality, client-focused service to new projects. He has a 20-year background in real estate and professional services marketing across the UK and internationally.

“We are delighted to be able to welcome Ian, Stuart, David and Justin as new directors”, said Iain Roberts, chairman and director of Buro Four. “They have a wealth of experience delivering successful projects and will help Buro Four to strengthen its offer to clients who require a proactive and strong project management service and at the same time we are pleased to announce wider promotions of key staff in the business.”

As well as announcing the new leadership team of directors, several hard-working employees have also been promoted into key positions within the company.
