The Project
The Old Vic Theatre is one of the country’s most beloved theatres, hosting the likes of Sir Ian McKellen, Helen Mirren and Daniel Radcliffe. Whilst still beautiful, the theatre is over 200 years old and required works to improve the day-to-day running and visitor experience.
The project at the Grade-II listed building comprised of works to the ground floor foyer, the Penny Bar area and improved accessibility facilities, including a platform lift.
Buro Four project managed the preparation of an outline design, as well as overseeing planning application and listed building consent.
