The Project

Sycamore House involves the transformation of a 1980s former office, clinical research, and storage facility to provide a flexible building with two floors of tailor-made offices and laboratories for biomedical start-ups, scale ups and mature companies.

The building is located at the Stevenage BioScience Campus and aims to create a highly collaborative community environment where businesses at varying stages of their life cycle can learn from one another. Kadans Science Partner are the developer for the scheme with Mission Street as the Development Manager.

As well as modular and flexible office and laboratory spaces (up to CL2) ranging from 100 to 2,000 sq. m., the facility also includes collaboration spaces, a communal welcome area, enhanced meeting rooms, waiting rooms and breakout spaces.
