The Project

In the heart of the city’s knowledge quarter, Citylabs are expanding their capabilities with two new major science buildings. The campus will form Europe’s largest clinical academic campus. The new biomedical centre of excellence will enable biomedical companies to grow and create new health products in collaboration with the NHS and academia.

The works involve the construction of two major new science buildings to provide high quality and flexible office, laboratory and clinical space. As well as the major new build, the Grade II listed Edwardian building that wraps around Citylabs 3 will be refurbished to create smaller office suites. An atrium will connect the heritage building with the new structure, allowing the facility to share resources that include shared meeting areas and spaces for dining, public exhibitions and conferences.

Our role expanded from providing strategic advice to project management and employer’s agent services.
