The Project
The University of Southampton and Lloyd’s Register Group collaborated to create a new centre of education in maritime engineering. This was in the form of a world class £140m campus with outstanding facilities.
This project involved a new technology headquarters for Lloyd’s Register Group, in addition to a new office and research facility for the university. The research facilities included a 150m towing tank, wave machine and teaching space.
We provided full project management and employer’s agent services for the successful delivery of the campus development. A key part of our role included acting as representative to protect our client’s interests.
