The £23m BREEAM Excellent Biodiscovery Institute for University of Nottingham is a state of the art facility which promotes pioneering multidisciplinary research in microbiology, structural and synthetic biology, drug discovery, regenerative medicine, cancer biology and tissue engineering, they will provide valuable support through joint supervision and training.

This pioneering facility has been designed to support the current and future research into cancer care breakthroughs and brings together researchers and academics from across six different locations across the University to one cohesive and highly collaborative environment.

The users of the building were always a significant consideration throughout the planning, design and construction of the building. Users were consulted, engaged and given the opportunity to contribute at every step of the way to ensure that the facility was going to be suitable for their requirements.
