The Project
Castleforge Partners wanted to provide high quality office space for the City market in the business district. To achieve this they extensively refurbished the 1980's office block at 160 Aldersgate.
The building received a whole new identity through a replacement façade, an uplift through an additional storey and a re-configuring of floor space. This meant the building made more efficient use of the basement and ground floor areas. This freed up extra roof space for terraces.
Buro Four provided full project management, employer’s agent and tenant liaison services for the project. The project achieved a BREEAM rating of Excellent and was shortlisted for the Best Refurbished Workspace at the London BCO awards.
