This development will provide a vibrant and new business district in the centre of Salford. The development aimed to further increase the area’s economic potential.

The development features an eight storey building that will provide its tenants with 125,000 sq. ft. of stylish, new office space. It was the first office development in the business district of a masterplan that also provided hotels, restaurants and retail space.

Buro Four provided Project Management and Employer’s Agent services for the Masterplan. This included the coordination of archaeology investigations.

Interestingly, during the works it was discovered the site sits on a Georgian prison, dating back to 1787. Upon discovery of the remains there was extensive archaeological works to investigate the history of the structure which Buro Four coordinated. The discovered tools used to construct the prison remain on display in the building today.
