I thrive on the dynamic nature of Project Management; no two days are the same in our industry. I like to build strong and lasting relationships with colleagues and project teams – and have some fun along the way. I love to solve problems, using detail and analytical approaches to help work through challenges. Standing back and seeing the physical results of the hard work put in on a project by the team is rewarding; just like completing my lego sets when I was young!

When not following my beloved Middlesbrough FC (where I’ve had a season ticket for over 30 years), I enjoy family time. I live to keep my daughters happy; often playing taxi for their various classes and competitions and supporting their obsessions for Disney. In any other spare time, I can be found outdoors or fishing.

When it comes to making a difference, I find complex projects with lots of stakeholders and potential challenges among the most rewarding. I work across a variety of sectors, on projects ranging from listed buildings right through to major regeneration and residential masterplans, manufacturing sites and laboratories. I enjoy the relationship-building aspect of my work and I strive to foster open communication with my clients, which ultimately sets the tone for a strong project team.

Outside of work, family time in the Lake District and supporting Newcastle United are the things that bring me the most enjoyment.
