Project description
The transformation of the infamous Café Royal into a luxury hotel, complete with spa facilities, restaurants and retail space.
The project involved the part-demolition, part-new-build of the iconic Grade-II listed building to create a new 160-room five-star hotel on London’s famous Regent Street. Historic sections of the building and façades were retained, in addition to the restoration of rooms. All the works took place within a constrained site and to a tight programme.
The building still stands the test of time as one of London’s truly illustrious buildings.
