Buro Four, the independent, specialist provider of project management services, has announced the appointment of two new London Project Directors, further strengthening the company’s London operations. Keith Davies joins as project director after 13 years at Tkei homes and Kevin Tilson also joins as a project director from Gardiner & Theobald.
The appointments come at a time of significant growth for Buro Four, marked by the launch of their new brand in addition to a string of new hires and promotions within the company. Ian Higgs, Stuart Flaxton, David Boles, Julian Kent and James Foreman recently took on senior roles within the company.
Keith Davies brings with him over 20 years’ experience and knowledge of the industry. His previous roles include stints at Gardiner & Theobald and Davis Langdon. Most recently he worked as a director for Tkei Homes for 13 years, providing extensive experience in the residential sector – a growth area for Buro Four.
Kevin Tilson joins Buro Four from Gardiner & Theobald where he spent four years working as a Director and then Partner. Kevin returns to Buro Four after working as Senior Project Manager between 2007 and 2010 and has since gained a breadth of experience at Cyril Sweett, McBains Cooper and JLL. Kevin will be joining with a focus on developing new work in London’s commercial office sector.
Additionally, Stuart Flaxton has joined the main Board as a Director, which comes almost a year after his promotion to London operations director and head of corporate occupier.
Iain Roberts, Chairman of Buro Four, said: “The appointment of Keith and Kevin marks the start of an exciting new time at Buro Four. Their track records, reputations and contacts in the industry are second to none and we are really excited to have them on board as we look towards another successful year. We welcome Stuart Flaxton to the main Board which underlines his success in making corporate occupier a major sector for Buro Four”.
A period of strong growth for the 34 year old organization has seen it appointed on a number of major projects across the UK including the Museum of London, The Royal Academy of the Arts, Anglo DeBeers HQ, Swansea Arena, University of Manchester Engineering Campus and the old American Embassy at 30 Grosvenor Square. It operates offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Cambridge, Leeds and overseas in Abu Dhabi.
Buro Four recently received the 2018 Best Places to Work Award from Property Week and is committed to encouraging employee promotion from within as it looks to the next generation.
