The Band on the Wall project has secured a further £1.4m from the National Lottery

Great news for Band on the Wall as it successfully secures a £1.4m funding boost from the National Lottery.  This is a huge step forward for the much loved Manchester Institution which will see the Cocozza Building once again reopen its doors to the public.

The exciting expansion will see the capacity increase from 340 to 520 to support the ever expanding Manchester music and arts scene. The design includes a range of educational, studio and rehearsal spaces not to mention a second 80-capacity site which will be used to introduce a variety of events including intimate live music performances and film screenings.
