The Project

The Museum of London is one of the largest urban history collections in the world and is home to more than six million objects. Through its evocative buildings, its compelling programmes and outstanding collections, the museum aims to become one of London’s top five most visited museums.

The exciting project has a £332m construction budget and is focused on housing the Museum of London within a group of heritage buildings on the historic West Smithfield site. This will provide a new and charismatic identity for the museum and will allow them to fulfil their goals of becoming a 24-hour destination and reaching every schoolchild in London.
