We're proud partners of Regeneration Brainery

Who is Regeneration Brainery, and what does the organisation do?

Regeneration Brainery is a non-profit that supports more than 4,000 individuals every year in exploring opportunities across the built environment. Through dedicated week-long Brainery Weeks, speed networking events, coffee mornings, work experience and project visits, the aim is to increase diversity, social mobility and access to careers in the property and regeneration industry.

Why have we partnered with the charity?

At the heart of its mission, Regeneration Brainery connects ambitious individuals with the industry, helping them discover careers they might not have previously considered and equipping them with tools to pursue exciting career opportunities.

We’re proud to have already welcomed several ‘Brainees’ into full-time roles at Buro Four in recent years, building on work experience gained through Regeneration Brainery.

Now, as an official corporate partner of the charity, we’re excited to reinforce our role as a business where individuals can gain meaningful, hands-on experience and develop lasting careers in the industry.

When and where we have been working with Regeneration Brainery in 2026?

This February saw four members of our team share their insights and career journeys at the London Brainery Week, delivering:

  • A speed networking session: Directors Ruth Oates and David Richards of Buro Four and DRP stepped up as industry mentors, welcoming questions from attendees interested in careers including project management, building surveying and quantity surveying
  • A presentation on career pathways: During their session, ‘From Brainery to Buro Four’, Project Manager Max McLean and Assistant Project Manager Anjola Oke shared firsthand perspectives on growing their careers with the support of Regeneration Brainery. Having connected with the organisation at university, Max and Anjola returned to this year’s bootcamp as ambassadors, offering their advice, answering questions and highlighting opportunities available.

Regeneration Brainery was UKREiiF’s official charity partner for 2026. In May, Assistant Project Manager Anjola Oke joined the event as a Regeneration Brainery ambassador. During the week, Anjola supported the charity’s ‘Brain Train’ initiative, a social media campaign featuring on-the-ground interviews with professionals at the event. With more than 16,000 delegates at this year’s conference, the series aimed to show younger people the variety of opportunities available in the built environment and the different routes into the industry.

Looking ahead

Looking ahead, our team is excited to be supporting Regeneration Brainery at the following events:

  • Brainery Week Cities: Over the course of this year, our team will have the opportunity to attend and participate in Brainery Week sessions and Coffee Mornings across UK cities including London (July), Birmingham and Manchester  (Autumn), where they’ll be sharing their industry insights with attendees.
